Description

SH2-112 is a bright HII region just 1.5 degrees NW of Deneb.  Its size is 13 arc minutes which is
about the same size as the nearby Cocoon Nebula.  It lies 5,600 light-years away, twice the distance
of it celestial neighbor The North American Nebula NGC-7000.  This nebula is fairly bright, the
Moon was 97% Full when I imaged this.  I expected to image it over several nights but was able
to get results that I was satisfied with in just one night!
